The Process of NEET UG Counselling

NEET UG Counselling is the process through which eligible candidates are allotted seats in various postgraduate medical courses offered by government and private colleges across India. The counselling is conducted by MCC i.e., the Medical Counselling Committee of the DGHS i.e., Directorate General of Health Services on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare(MoHFW).

Candidates who have qualified in the NEET UG entrance examination must register on the official website of MCC and participate in the counselling process.

The Counselling process includes online registration, choice filling, seat allocation, document verification, etc. After completing all these steps, candidates will be allotted their desired seats in their chosen course and college.

    NEET UG counselling begins with basic registration and choice filling/ Choice locking with the concerned counselling authorities which is followed by seat allotment and reporting to the allotted institute.
