    Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Nepal

    The students must meet the following eligibility criteria for admission to medical universities in Nepal:

    Apart from meeting the above eligibility criteria, the candidates must also obtain a student visa to study MBBS in Nepal.

    • They must have completed 17 years on or before 31st December of their admission.
    • They must have qualified in their 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually and must have secured at least 55% marks taken together in these subjects.
    • The minimum marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories shall not be less than 45% in the qualifying examination.
    • Candidates who have qualified their 12th class under the 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.
    • Aspirants must have qualified the NEET Exam.

    Documents Required for MBBS Admission in Nepal

    If you are planning to study MBBS in Nepal, you will need to submit the following documents:

    • A completed application form
    • Your academic transcripts and certificates
    • A copy of your passport
    • Two passport-sized photographs
    • A medical certificate proving that you are in good health and free from any communicable diseases
    • An HIV test report
    • A police clearance certificate
    • A sponsorship letter from your sponsor or financial guarantor

    Once you have all the above documents, you can apply for a student visa at the nearest Nepalese embassy or consulate in your home country. After your visa has been approved, you can travel to Nepal and begin your studies at a medical school there.

    Admission Procedure for MBBS in Nepal

    You will receive the Visa within 20 days from the day of submission of documents. After receiving the visa, book your flight ticket and fly to Nepal. Upon arrival in Nepal, show the migration card and passport to the immigration officer. You will get a stamped entry into Nepal. You can go to your university and submit the following documents to the university authorities:

    • Migration Card (obtained at the airport).
    • Original passport and 2 photocopies of the passport.
    • Admission Letter from University.
    • 8 Passport size photographs (3×4 cm).
    • Medical Certificate of HIV/AIDS Negative issued by an authorized Belarus Medical Organization.
